Telerivet

The Telerivet SMS Provider extension enables your organization to send and receive text messages (SMS) using CiviCRM via Telerivet. It works by linking CiviCRM to Telerivet’s platform, so you can use almost any Android or iOS phone (or Telerivet’s own tools) as an SMS gateway. This means you can send mass texts, reminders, alerts, or replies and have all those messages logged in CiviCRM under the relevant contact records. It’s especially useful in places where traditional SMS gateways are expensive or unavailable.

Whatsapp

The CiviCRM WhatsApp extension enables organizations to send and receive WhatsApp messages directly from within CiviCRM. By integrating with WhatsApp Business API providers like Twilio or Civi-Go, this extension allows staff to communicate with contacts via WhatsApp, keeping all interactions logged in CiviCRM. This integration facilitates personalized communication, such as sending event reminders, donation receipts, or volunteer updates, directly through WhatsApp. Additionally, it supports rich media messages (like images and videos) and interactive elements (such as buttons), enhancing engagement with recipients. The extension also includes features for managing consent and compliance, ensuring that communications adhere to privacy regulations. It’s particularly beneficial for organizations aiming to leverage WhatsApp’s high engagement rates to strengthen relationships with their community.

Mandrill

The Mandrill (Simple) extension enables CiviCRM to send emails via Mandrill’s SMTP servers, providing a straightforward method for email delivery. It is designed to be a simpler and faster alternative to the more feature-rich Mandrill Transactional Email (MTE) extension. This extension ensures that bounce messages are recorded in CiviCRM when using Mandrill’s SMTP servers, helping maintain the accuracy of your email lists. It is compatible with CiviCRM 5.0 and higher.

Mautic

The Mautic Integration extension connects your CiviCRM system with Mautic, an open-source marketing automation platform. This integration allows you to synchronize contacts between CiviCRM and Mautic, enabling you to leverage Mautic’s advanced marketing tools while maintaining your contact data within CiviCRM. With this extension, you can automate marketing campaigns, track engagement, and manage leads more effectively, all while keeping your contact information centralized in CiviCRM. It’s particularly beneficial for organizations looking to enhance their marketing efforts without duplicating data across multiple platforms.

MailJet

Mailjetty is an extension that helps your CiviCRM system automatically process email bounces when using Mailjet as your email service provider. When someone unsubscribes or when an email can’t be delivered (a “bounce”), Mailjetty captures this information and updates the contact’s status in CiviCRM accordingly. This automation ensures that your contact records remain accurate and up-to-date without manual intervention. It’s especially useful for maintaining a healthy email list and improving your email deliverability. The extension is compatible with CiviCRM version 5.71 and higher.

Twilio

The Twilio SMS Provider extension integrates Twilio’s messaging service with CiviCRM, enabling organizations to send both individual and bulk SMS messages directly from their CRM system. By configuring Twilio as an SMS provider in CiviCRM, users can communicate with contacts via text messages, facilitating timely updates, reminders, and alerts. The extension supports features like auto-replies and message delivery tracking, enhancing communication efficiency. It’s compatible with CiviCRM version 5.0 and higher, and the latest release (version 1.2.2) was made available on February 22, 2024.

Mailchimp

The Mailchimp extension lets you sync your Mailchimp lists (audiences) with groups in CiviCRM. This means when someone is added or removed from a Mailchimp audience, the change is reflected automatically in CiviCRM — and vice versa. It also supports syncing Mailchimp’s “interest groups” with CiviCRM groups, and can import which campaigns were sent to contacts as activities. The goal is to keep your mailing lists consistent across both systems, without double data entry.

Sparkpost

The SparkPost extension lets CiviCRM send emails using SparkPost’s email delivery service and handles bounce tracking automatically. It integrates via SparkPost’s REST API, so emails (both bulk mailings and transactional messages) go through SparkPost’s infrastructure. When an email bounces (i.e. fails to deliver), SparkPost notifies CiviCRM via callback, and the contact’s record is updated appropriately. It’s designed to be easy to set up (even for non-technical users), replace other email sending options, and provide accurate bounce processing. SparkPost also supports a “service provider” mode so a single SparkPost account can be used by multiple organizations.

SendGrid

The SendGrid Event Notification Processor extension enables CiviCRM to receive and process email event notifications from SendGrid, a third-party bulk email delivery provider. This integration allows CiviCRM to track various email events such as bounces, opens, clicks, unsubscribes, and spam reports. By configuring SendGrid’s Event Notification app to send these events to CiviCRM, organizations can monitor email engagement directly within their CRM system. The extension also provides options to choose whether SendGrid or CiviCRM processes open and click-through events and includes a Mail Spam Report template for detailed reporting. It supports basic HTTP authentication and is compatible with CiviCRM versions 5.49 and higher.

Clickatell

The Clickatell SMS Provider extension enables organizations to send both individual and bulk SMS messages directly from CiviCRM using the Clickatell SMS gateway. Once installed, you can configure Clickatell as your SMS provider within CiviCRM’s settings. This integration allows you to send text messages to contacts, enhancing communication for events, reminders, or alerts. To set it up, you’ll need a Clickatell account and API credentials. Please note that the extension is compatible with CiviCRM versions up to 5.0, and its development status is marked as “Work In Progress.”
