When used with CiviCRM, Backdrop provides deep integration: when someone signs up as a user on your site, a corresponding contact is created in CiviCRM; you can set up permissions and roles to control who has access to CiviCRM features; and you can use Backdrop’s layout and “Views” tools to pull CiviCRM data (like lists of donors, events, or members) into website pages.
