Modernizing NAATP.org with React and Drupal 11
The National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) supports addiction treatment programs nationwide through education, advocacy, and networking. To better serve its members, NAATP needed a faster, more flexible platform for its member directory. Partnering with Skvare, the organization modernized its site using Drupal 11 and React, while keeping CiviCRM as the single source of member data.

Challenge
The previous Drupal 7 site had reached end of life, creating security risks and limiting the ability to make improvements. Managing member listings and displaying data from CiviCRM was limited by older tools and templates. The site lacked intuitive filtering, interactive search, and a seamless way to pull dynamic data from CiviCRM without slowing down performance.
NAATP wanted a modern, scalable solution that improved user experience while preserving the powerful membership and relationship management already handled in CiviCRM.
Solution
Skvare implemented a modern front end using React with Drupal 11 for content management and CiviCRM for structured member data. This setup allows the website to display accurate, real-time information from CiviCRM in a fast, engaging way.
Using Drupal Views, the site pulls CiviCRM data such as organization name, city, state, treatment types, and insurance accepted. React presents this information instantly on the front end, making it easy for visitors to search, filter, and explore member listings.
The project also introduced several major improvements:
