civico is a small team from Berlin providing CiviCRM consulting, hosting and support for NGOs, associations, foundations, political parties and media organizations in Germany.
We combine years of experience in civil society organizations with technical expertise, and understand our clients’ workflows and needs, including German specifics like SEPA direct debit, donation receipts (Zuwendungsbestätigungen) and GDPR compliance.

We guide organizations from first consultation to day-to-day operation, and we adapt to how each client wants to run CiviCRM. Consulting ends with a written concept covering scope, sequence and budget. We configure CiviCRM to fit your workflows and build custom extensions where existing ones fall short, and the code stays open so you can take it elsewhere.
We specialize in on-premise deployments on the client’s own servers, and we also offer managed hosting in ISO-certified German data centers on 100% renewable energy. Both options include backups, monitoring and updates. Support is personal, by email and phone with fixed contact persons. Hands-on training is available on site or online. We take over existing CiviCRM installations from other providers, starting with a security and data-quality audit. We also move installations between platforms, for example from WordPress or Drupal to CiviCRM Standalone, and migrate data from spreadsheets, membership databases, Salesforce or Mailchimp.
